HELLO TOURIST
We all know how it is to visit a city for the first time.., you are not sure if you are in the right location or actually walking down a side street, missing all the interesting things somewhere else. Stockholm is no different. Guide books and of course the amazing place called the Internet will help you along to find the “smultronställen” of Stockholm, but we also wanted to give you a couple of starters that we feel are great places to fill the cultural tank.
We will of course be in the city and we will plan for things to happen so that we can enjoy the summer city together before we are heading out to Nässligen. If you have a special interest or any questions about Stockholm or anything else for that matter.., just send us an e-mail.

Stockholm is the largest city in Scandinavia with its roughly 1.5 million people. Located between the Baltic Sea and Mälaren, it functions like a sea lock between the Baltic Seas saltwater and Mälarens freshwater.

PLACES TO STAY
There are many great places to stay at in Stockholm. It all depends on what type of style you prefer and what type of neighborhood you would like to stay in. We live in the city part named “Södermalm” which offers most variety in people, restaurants and shops. It’s the old quarter of the working people of Stockholm and a place with great history and interesting surroundings. Here are a few places we recommend at Södermalm:
Scandic Malmen
Clarion Stockholm
Columbus Stockholm
Rival Stockholm
